Candidate Recruitment Questionnaire

by WCRCC | Jun 11, 2019 | News & Events

Question 1: Government should be considered as a safety net to provide equality of opportunity, not a guarantee of benefits to provide equal outcomes for everyone.

Question 2: The rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness are goals for each person to achieve, and none are guaranteed without some personal commitment and responsibility.

Question 3: We should respect individual rights in our constitution including 2nd Amendment rights, while embracing common sense responsibilities at the state and federal level.

Question 4: We should require a valid state or federal photo ID (Driver’s License, State ID, FOID, passport) to prevent voter fraud.

Question 5: At some point, an unborn baby has the same right to life as her pregnant Mom.

Question 6: Elective abortion procedures should be against the law after an unborn baby has a heartbeat, brainwaves, and gender.

Question 7: I support the federal Partial Birth Abortion Ban.

Question 8: I support the current Illinois law requiring a minor to have parental consent before obtaining an abortion.

Question 9: I oppose public funding for elective abortions.

Question 10: I support the right of conscience and freedom of religion for those who refuse to provide elective abortions or to supply abortifacients.
